first 75 miles out of Lewiston will be in one of our regular covered tour
boats, then after lunch when the weather is at it's hottest we board the all
new Boogie boat for an exhilarating and exciting ride up through class 1 to
5 rapids for the next 29 miles to the Hells Canyon Dam. If you think

Hells Canyon Tour – End of Navigation at Rush Creek

navigational markers stop. The Navigational makers were used to navigate river
boats up through the wild and rock strewn Snake River. We stop here at Sheep
Creek for a brief visit back in time.

Kirkwood Historical Ranch and museum is one of the most popular stops in Hells Canyon. Established in 1901, it later became the homestead of Idaho's governor and eventually Senator Len Jorden and his family. Kirkwood is now staffed by volunteers for the United State Forest Service.
