Historic Sheep Creek Ranch is located 91.2 miles up river from Lewiston, Idaho. This is the last homestead the mail run reaches. It was established in 1913 by William McLeod. In the early seventies the Forest Service acquired the property and Snake River Adventures has been leasing it since 1985.
Sheep Creek Ranch is a lesson in history. Considered rustic, it is a place where you and your family can step back in time. Experience and explore the historic surroundings. Enjoy a day of hiking, fishing or relaxing and taking in the scenery of Hells Canyon. Your nights will be filled with the sound of flowing waters and the serenity of this wondrous Canyon.
Sheep Creek is the end of navigation and where most outfitters turn around. Not us. Snake River Adventures goes beyond, offering a jet boat trip to Granite Creek Rapids or Hells Canyon Dam, directly under the Seven Devils Mountains.
This is the perfect opportunity for jet boaters, rafters, hikers to rent Sheep Creek for a private getaway for one night or as many nights as you
would like. We provide linens or sleeping bags and an onsite caretaker to render assistance if needed, but you will need to provide your own food, prepare your own meals and clean up after yourself.
Cabin Rental: - The cabin rents for up to 8 people for $146.50* a night
if there is over 8 guests, each additional person is $26.00* a night. In
addition you will be required to place a $50.00 cleaning/damage deposit which is
refundable through the office after inspection by caretaker.
